The National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP) introduced major salary adjustments that became effective July 1, 2014 with a 50 percent increment in the remuneration of employees in two stages. A 25 percent has been given and the balance will be provided during the next fiscal period.

This is the second time management has introduced such measure. in 2010, employees experienced a 50 percent increment in salary which was divided into two stages, fiscal 2010 and 2011.

Director-General Dewitt vonBallmoos said the increment was intended to motivate and improve the well-being of staff members, and admonished employees to take advantage of the increment and work harder in sustaining the gains the corporation has achieved over the years.
