The 2015 retirement and honoring program of the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation is customary where employees and staff of the Corporation come together at the end of the year to celebrate their achievements. Moreover, it is when the Corporation gives honor to whom honor is due. Presentation of Certificates and Awards were given to retirees and long service employees of the entity.

In her welcome remarks the Assistant Coordinator for Public Affairs welcomed the retirees, honorees and members of staff. She lauded and congratulated those who were being honored for demonstrating on of the Corporation's core vales of excellence. She urged the rest of the NASSCORP family to take the mantle of excellence in the spirit of the Corporation in making NASSCORP proud.

The Director General, Mr. Dewitt vonBallmoos congratulated all those who were honored including the employee of the quarter. He thanked all employees for their hard work during the year 2015. He later presented awards and certificates to the longest serving employees, Mr. Abraham Kemokai and Mr. Moses B. Findeh.

The Workers Union President, in his remarks, thanked Management for reaching the mark in its investment portfolio. He also appealed to Management to look into the banking service as it is always down during the end of month when employees go to collect their salaries.

The Coordinator for Human Resources presented the retirees and the Deputy Director General, Mr. Nyan D. Twayen Jr., certificated and awarded them. Later the retirees representative, Mr. Adolphus D. Togba lauded and hailed top Management for their hard work as quoted as being "the best Management ever" in his entire tenure. Presentation of certificates and awards for long service employees was done by members of executive management whereby the certificating and awarding of the employee of the quarter was done by Mr. Leroy Fleming, Assistant Director General of the Insurance Division.

The program was marked by lots of refreshments, freestyle modeling, jokes, etc. and closed off with sporting events of kickball and football matches between Management and Employees.
