In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) joined the fight against the deadly virus by visiting various communities in and around Liberia to distribute safety items and food as a way of assisting during the state of emergency.
In addition to the distribution, the NASSCORP Pandemic Response team educated the dwellers of each community about the signs and symptoms of COVID-19, and how to avoid getting infected. After the presentation, the leaders of each community lauded the efforts of NASSCORP for identifying with them and also assured the team that they will adhere to all the health protocols.
Due to the increased number of confirmed cases ranging from 100 to-926 and 41 Deaths, the Pandemic Response Team of NASSCORP continues to reach out to the public using its Social Media platforms to create more awareness with illustrative health tips about COVID-19 and updates on new cases.
